They do have some flaws however, which prevent them from being our top choice. One of the Q5's shortcomings is that its navigation system does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance. It's thus susceptible to getting stuck on socks and shoes and couldn't navigate rooms with lots of people well in our tests. It doesn't also have a camera to see around corners.
It's still a great deal, especially if your office or home has lots of unfinished floors and you want to save some money. It's also very quiet and can be used while you're at work, or going to school. The only thing it doesn't have that you won't find in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on bare floors. And it's less effective at mopping, using disposable wet wipes, which don't stick on for long and don't take on dried-on debris. The Q5 comes with a self-emptying cradle however. And, if you need to, you can switch the mopping pad to dry ones in just a few seconds.
2. IRobot Roomba
The iRobot Roomba X30 is a compact sleek and stylish vacuum cleaner that can also sweep floors.
